Community and Employability
SpeakSmart Employability
We work with employment providers, local authorities and community organisations to deliver practical, transformative programmes that help people communicate their value and take their next step into work.
What We Deliver
Three intensive, practical programmes designed to address the communication and confidence barriers that prevent people from finding and keeping work.
A 3-day intensive programme equipping participants with the communication skills, confidence and self-presentation techniques needed to re-enter the workplace successfully.
A focused programme specifically designed to prepare participants for the interview process - from how to structure an answer to how to walk into a room with confidence.
Designed specifically for 16-24 year olds and NEET young people, this programme builds the confidence and communication foundations needed for work, further education and life.

Our Impact
Every SpeakSmart Employability programme is built around clear, measurable outcomes that commissioners can evidence and report against.
Every participant completes a pre-programme confidence and communication self-assessment, repeated at the end to demonstrate measurable progress.
Mock interviews and presentations are observed and scored by SpeakSmart facilitators, providing direct evidence of communication competency development.
Full attendance registers are maintained throughout delivery. Completion certificates are issued to participants who complete the full programme.
We provide commissioners with a structured outcome report following each cohort, covering attendance, assessment results, participant feedback and progression notes.
How It Works
A clear, straightforward process from initial referral through to delivery and reporting.
Commissioner refers participants and agrees cohort dates, venue and contract terms.
Participants complete pre-programme assessment on Day 1 to establish starting point.
