Refund Policy

We want every family to feel confident when booking with SpeakSmart. Please read our refund policy carefully before making a booking.

1. Cancellation by You

• 14 or more days before the course start date: Full refund issued to the original payment method within 5-10 working days.
• 7 to 13 days before the course start date: 50% refund, or full credit transferable to another SpeakSmart course date or venue.
• Less than 7 days before the course start date: Non-refundable. A transfer to another date or venue may be offered at our discretion, subject to availability.

2. Transfers

We are happy to transfer your booking to a different course date or venue, subject to availability. Transfer requests must be made at least 7 days before your original course start date. Please contact us at hello@speak-smart.co.uk to arrange a transfer.

3. Illness or Emergency

We understand that unexpected circumstances arise. If your child is unable to attend due to illness or a genuine emergency, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to offer a transfer or credit on a case-by-case basis, though this cannot be guaranteed.

4. Cancellation by SpeakSmart

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel a course due to insufficient numbers, instructor illness, venue issues, or circumstances beyond our control, we will:

• Give you as much notice as possible
• Offer a full refund or a transfer to an alternative date

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund or transfer, please email us at hello@speak-smart.co.uk with your booking reference, your child's name, and the reason for cancellation.

6. Processing Time

Approved refunds are processed within 5-10 working days and will be returned to the original payment method used at the time of booking.
