Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before booking a course with SpeakSmart. By booking a place, you agree to be bound by these terms.
SpeakSmart is an educational enrichment programme provider based in London, UK, operated by Leanne Carroll and Mebru Cangert. Contact us at hello@speak-smart.co.uk.
All bookings are made through our online booking system at bookwhen.com/speaksmart. A booking is confirmed once payment has been received in full. Places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Our courses are designed for children aged 9 to 12 years. By booking a place, the parent or guardian confirms that their child falls within this age range and that they have parental responsibility for the child.
SpeakSmart operates in accordance with safeguarding best practices. All staff working with children hold current DBS checks. Parents or guardians are responsible for dropping off and collecting their child punctually at the stated course times (9:00am to 3:00pm).
We may occasionally take photographs or video footage during our courses for use on our website and social media. We will always seek written consent from parents or guardians before publishing any images of children. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.
We expect all participants to treat instructors and fellow students with respect. SpeakSmart reserves the right to remove any child from a course without refund if their behaviour is deemed unsafe, disruptive, or harmful to others.
SpeakSmart takes all reasonable care to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all participants. However, we cannot accept liability for any loss, injury, or damage unless caused by our negligence. Parents and guardians are responsible for ensuring their child is fit and well enough to attend.
We reserve the right to make changes to course dates, venues, or instructors where necessary. We will provide as much notice as possible. If a course is cancelled by SpeakSmart, a full refund will be issued.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
